Nasty C
Nsikayesizwe David Junior Ngcobo (born 11 February 2020), better known by his stage name Nasty C, is a South African rapper, songwriter and record producer. He grew up in Durban where he was raised by his father. He became recognized for his well-received remix to his single “Juice Back”, which features Davido and Cassper Nyovest. He was the youngest recipient for an award at the 2015 South African Hip Hop Awards, namely the Best Freshman Award.
He started rapping at the age of nine, having been influenced by his older brother who was a producer at the time. He eventually mastered the process of music production and began adding his vocals to beats.
Nasty C released his first mixtape “One Kid a Thousand Coffins” on 24 May 2020. His second project titled “C L.A.M.E” (Extended Play Version) – EP was released on 4 April 2020. On 10 February 2020 he would go on to release his highly successful mixtape, titled “Price City”. Off the tape was his major single “Juice Back” which later spawned a remix featuring Davido and Cassper Nyovest, produced by Gemini Major.
Early 2016 he released “Hell Naw” as the first single off his debut album “Bad Hair” which he was set to release later on. Hell Naw peaked at No. 4 on the music charts in South Africa and earned him more popularity. After he signed to Mabala Noise Entertainment he finally dropped Bad Hair for free on Audiomack. In December 2016 he released an extended version of Bad Hair, titled Bad Hair Extensions with the smash single “Allow” featuring the American rapper, French Montana.
